The core of our LITZ WIRES is made of self-bonding enameled wire rated for temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius.
TRANSPOSITION PRINCIPLE
THREE ASPECTS
Transposition means a constantly changing position of a single conductor that makes a litz wire, inside a bundle, as it passes along the wire.
In high-frequency applications, manufacturers are challenged with a significantly reduced wire efficiency due to a reduced current density in the center of a conductor, as known as the skin effect. The use of LITZ WIRES overcomes the skin effect. However, there are TWO other EFFECTS that are not as well known that occur with the application of LITZ WIRES and adversely affect its efficiency.
Three main aspects that make our product UNIQUE

Magnetic fields of single conductors in continuously transposed litz wires cause losses in adjacent conductors due to eddy currents — this is called the internal proximity effect. It occurs inside a wire (litz wire), when magnetic fields of single conductors of a continuously transposed litz wire cause losses in adjacent conductors due to eddy currents.
The internal proximity effect is about a finished coil, where the magnetic fields of adjacent turns of a wire affect each other, also reducing the current density inside the litz wire.
The TRANSPOSITION principle can be employed to reduce the internal and external proximity effects and thus increase efficiency.
Most manufacturers produce LITZ WIRES using a seven-bundled or concentric-layeredlay-up. When using this method, one bundleis always located in the center, which prevents it from changing its position in a wire, causing it to always remain in the center with the current density on it dropping.
Instead, we, having learned from the experience of foreign manufacturers and research directed by Professor Sullivan at the University of Massachusetts, use three-, four-, five-bundledlay-up in our production, thus eliminating the inefficient centered conductor.
Rectangular shaping of LITZ WIRES increases the filling of the taping window by up to 20%. With this type of shaping, we make square-Profiled LITZ WIRES.
